I’ve spent my career at the intersection of strategy, communication, and growth — and I’ve learned that the most important skill in any of those disciplines is the same: knowing how to build trust with the right people.
I started as a journalist — reporting for Honolulu Civil Beat, BuzzFeed News, and Hawaii News Now — where I learned to ask sharp questions, synthesize complex information fast, and tell stories that moved people to act.
That foundation led me into business development at Gray Television, one of the top-25 broadcast groups in the United States. I managed a $1.2M+ annual revenue portfolio, acquired 28 new client partnerships in three years, and grew a flagship account by 150% through a multi-market strategy I designed and led. I was recognized as a top 10 new seller across the national network five times.
I’m moving to New York this summer to focus on strategic partnerships and business development roles where I can operate at the intersection of strategy, relationships, and growth.
In 2022, I served as Miss Hawaiʻi and finished in the Top 10 at Miss America among 51 state representatives. That role taught me how to lead through influence, manage a public brand under pressure, and show up consistently across 200+ appearances over two years. I served on the board of the Honolulu Sister Cities Foundation and led two leadership committees at Hawaii News Now.
